A Struggling Start-UP


This client came to us in 2010 as a start-up. They had set up a claims management company (CMC) in the UK to help victims of the PPI claims scandal to recover their mis-sold PPI insurance premiums from their lenders.

From 2 Staff – To 28 – Inside 18 Months

From a staff of two in a small rented office the client expanded to a large building (which they ended up buying) and a staff of 28. Things got so busy that they were diverting out of hours office calls to their mobiles and answering until 9pm, 7 days a week. All this happened in a time frame of around 18 months.

The Power Of A Genuine SEO System

The only driver of traffic was BlueChip SEO’s campaign. We started in the second half of 2010 and gained the top spot for many high value search terms. These included the coveted “PPI claims” keyword which had the highest search volume (close to 100,000 monthly searches).

A Stroke Of Luck

It was a stroke of luck that hitting number 1 spot coincided with the banks losing the court case. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. This was April 2011 and the court decision opened the floodgates for a deluge of enquiries and claims. The post office was delivering bags of signed claims authorisation forms to the office on a daily basis.

Millions In The Bank

This client ended up earning several million in claims fees. Needless to say, they were delighted.
